InsolvencyAPI support

Answers first, a person when you need one.

Most questions are answered below. If yours is not, open a ticket: a person reads every one, and Professional and Intel tickets are answered by the next working day.

Keys and calls

How do I get a key?

Sign in with Google on the sign-in page and your key is made at once. It is shown in full only once.

I have lost my key. Can you send it again?

No one can see a key after it is made, us included. Replace it from your account: the old one keeps working for 24 hours while you update your code.

What counts as a call?

Each request counts as one call, and a page of up to 100 cases is one call. In a list check, each company counts as one. Every answer tells you how many calls you have left.

What happens when I run out of calls?

The API answers
429
with the time your calls reset. Nothing is charged automatically; you can move to a bigger plan from your account at any time.

The data

How fresh is the data?

Each country is read on its own timetable, from every 15 minutes for the UK to daily for some registers. The Status page shows when each was last read.

A case looks wrong. What should I do?

Open a ticket with the case id, such as
cs_7hq2lwx4
, and what looks wrong. We check it against the original publication and reply, usually the next working day.

Do you hold data about people?

No. We serve company insolvencies only. Sole traders are counted in statistics but never listed, and no person is ever named, including the practitioners appointed.

Can I rely on it for a legal decision?

It is a fast, careful copy of what is published, not an official record. For a decision that matters, check the official publication too.

Billing

How will it appear on my card?

Card charges appear as DEVELOPERDATA.NET. For a question about a charge, see our charge help page.

Can I pay yearly?

Yes. Yearly costs the same as ten months. You can switch from your account, and the change shows before you confirm it.

How do I cancel?

From your account, in two clicks. Your paid plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for, then your key moves to the free plan. Payments are not refunded as standard; Refunds says when we do.

Can I get an invoice for my company?

Every payment has an invoice in your account, with your company name and tax number if you add them.

Your account

How do I sign in?

With your Google account, on the sign-in page. There is no password to keep.

Can several people share an account?

No: one account per person, and a key is never shared. Each person signs in with their own Google account and gets their own key.

How do I close my account?

From Plan and billing in your account: Delete my account. Your key stops at once, any paid plan ends, and your details and tickets are deleted, as the Privacy notice sets out.
