Insolvency API guide
Insolvency casesWhat a case is, how cases and notices link, and the jobs people do with them.
Cases and notices
A case is one company in one procedure: a liquidation, an administration, a bankruptcy, a reorganisation. In the UK and France, a notice is one published step in it: the petition, the order, the appointment, the call for claims, the closing. Each notice carries its case_id, and One case lists every notice in it, oldest first.
In the other 21 countries the case comes from the register and court records, with its dates. Every country is read on its own timetable and given back in one shape. The Status page shows when each was last read.
