How it works

01Choose the countryAnd the procedure, in our own vocabulary, the same in every country.
02We measure closed casesOnly cases whose opening and closing are both held to the day, so open cases never shorten the answer.
03The middle and the spreadFor each year closed: the middle time, the quarter mark and the three-quarter mark, in days.

The code

In preview: the shape may still change, so try it before you build on it.

Questions

Which cases count?

Only cases with both an opening and a closing date held to the day; years with fewer than 5 cases are left out.

Why is it in preview?

The way the years are grouped may still change. The cases behind them will not.

Can I see how cases end?

Yes: GET /v1/stats/outcomes gives how the cases opened each year have ended so far.

Which countries have the most closed cases?

Those whose registers record a closing date; the Coverage page shows each one.
